CGO soloist auditions 2012-2013

Dear musicians,

Cambridge Graduate Orchestra is pleased to announce auditions for Concerto soloists for the year 2012-2013. Please forward this message to anyone who might be interested, preferably graduate students. Auditions will take place on the 2nd of June.

Candidates are requested to prepare 15 minutes of music - ideally from the concerto they would perform if successful. CGO will not provide an accompanist, but the soloist may bring one if he/she wishes.

To register your interest, please complete the form at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DC3FB6V by the 11th of May. We will be in touch no later than the 21st of May with an audition time and place if you’ve been selected. If you don’t hear from us by then, assume that you did not make it.

Thank you for your interest in CGO.

About us

The Cambridge Graduate Orchestra welcomes graduates, post graduates, fellows, mature students and other interested instrumentalists from within the university and city. Rehearsals occur throughout the calendar year.

The orchestra was founded in 2004 by Alex Reid in order to bring together graduate musicians dispersed across the university and town and provide a sociable environment in which to rehearse and meet other like-minded musicians. The Orchestra gave its first concert conducted by Peter Tregear in March 2005.
